We have always our own policy, which formed on international law, justice, decisions and documents of international organizations, as well as wisdom," said President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev while his speech on “The role of Azerbaijan for Energy Security” at the plenary session of the 48th edition of the international Cernobbio Forum in Cernobbio, Italy, APA reports.
"So I think we have succeeded. Azerbaijan already has a stable political position, and our economy is also stable. We have invested economically to become independent. Otherwise, we would feel dependent. Azerbaijan was a part of the empires, and we have been a part of the Soviet Union. Our people are already independent for 30 years and we want to live independently forever. For this, we must be strong. We must have good friends," said head of state.
