Georgia plans to continue the process of delimiting its state border with Azerbaijan, APA reports.

The plan is outlined in Georgia’s draft state budget for 2027.

The document says Georgia will maintain multilateral co-operation with Azerbaijan and Türkiye within the framework of strategic partnerships, including on projects of regional and global importance.

It describes the Georgia-Azerbaijan-Türkiye trilateral co-operation platform as a key regional format that supports active engagement between relevant ministries.

The draft also says Georgia intends to continue active co-operation with Armenia within the framework of their strategic partnership.

Developing mutually beneficial co-operation among South Caucasus countries and deepening strategic partnerships with Azerbaijan, Türkiye and Armenia are listed among Georgia’s main foreign policy priorities.

The document also states that Georgia plans to resume or continue the delimitation of its state borders with Azerbaijan and Armenia.
