Turkish National Defense Minister Yasar Guler said that if countries want peace and security, they must be prepared for war, APA reports.
He made the remarks while addressing the “High-Level Observer Day” of the Azerbaijan-Türkiye-Uzbekistan joint military exercise in Khojavend.
“I congratulate all my brothers who participated in the exercise. I believe that from now on, with our other brothers — the Kyrgyz and Kazakhs — joining us, we will both plan larger exercises together and successfully carry them out. If we want peace and security, we must be prepared for war. Therefore, taking into account all developments in our region, we will prepare in the best possible way, but we will live in peace,” Yasar Guler said.
