Yaşar Güler: I believe we will hold larger exercises with participation of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan

01 October 2026 16:11 (UTC +04:00)

If we want peace and security, we must be prepared for war, Türkiye’s Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler said during his speech at the Distinguished Visitors Day of the Azerbaijan-Türkiye-Uzbekistan joint military exercise in Khojavand, APA’s Karabakh bureau reports.

“I congratulate all my brothers participating in the exercise. I believe that from now on, with our other brothers – the Kyrgyz and Kazakhs – joining us, we will both plan and successfully conduct larger exercises together. If we want peace and security, we must be prepared for war. Therefore, taking into account all the circumstances in our region, we will prepare in the best possible way, but we will live in peace,” Yaşar Güler said.
