Milli Majlis passes draft law on 2025 state budget execution in first reading

The draft law “On the Execution of the State Budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2025” was discussed at today's session of the Milli Majlis, APA reports.

According to the draft law, Azerbaijan’s state budget revenues in 2025 exceeded the approved forecast by 2.2%, reaching AZN 39 billion 184.6 million.

State budget expenditures amounted to AZN 38 billion 604.6 million, which is 6.8% below the approved forecast.

As a result, the state budget was executed with a surplus of AZN 580 million in 2025.

The draft law was put to a vote and adopted in the first reading.
