“Problems should be resolved through dialogue, not demonstrative missile launches,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said while commenting on France’s test launch of a strategic ballistic missile, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
He said Europe is obsessed with the idea of militarization.
“Europe has become obsessed with plans to militarize the European Union, that is, an economic bloc, and turn it into a military-political bloc. In other words, as we understand it, it will now have three dimensions: economic, military and military-political. This is bad because they are building their defense and security identity on confrontation with the Russian Federation. This is a dead end. As history has shown, this leads to nothing good. Of course, against the backdrop of such aggressive actions and such plans, Russia is on alert. We are taking all necessary measures to ensure our national security at the strategic level. But at the same time, as the president has repeatedly said, we are open to dialogue,” the Kremlin spokesman stressed.
