07 October 2026 14:50 (UTC +04:00)

India has declared its readiness to contribute to resolving the conflict in Ukraine, and Moscow is grateful to New Delhi for this, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.

He confirmed that India had presented proposals for a peaceful settlement of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

“India has indeed stated that it is ready to make a possible contribution to resolving the conflict in Ukraine. And we are grateful to our Indian friends for this desire and for the ideas they have expressed,” the Kremlin official emphasized.

Note that the Hindustan Times reported that the Indian leadership had proposed a three-point ceasefire plan between Russia and Ukraine. The plan proposes halting attacks on energy facilities and other infrastructure, as well as strikes on commercial vessels, and ensuring uninterrupted grain and energy supplies through Black Sea ports.
