The European Union has implemented 29 projects in Azerbaijan’s education sector since 2008, EU Ambassador to Azerbaijan Marijana Kujundžić said at a press conference in Baku dedicated to the “Study in Europe” fair, APA reports.
The ambassador said the “Study in Europe” fair is being held as part of the 30th anniversary of the Partnership and Cooperation Agreement signed between Azerbaijan and the EU in 1996.
According to her, the main purpose of the fair is to provide young people with information about higher education programs and scholarship opportunities in Europe.
Marijana Kujundžić noted that studying in Europe creates an important opportunity for young Azerbaijanis to gain new knowledge and skills, discover different cultures, and build international connections: “Studying in Europe is an opportunity to gain the necessary knowledge and skills, discover new cultures, learn languages, build international connections, and gain unforgettable experience. We hope that our event will encourage young Azerbaijanis to study in the EU and discover a world of creativity, innovation, inspiration, and opportunities.”
It should be noted that the “Study in Europe” fair will be held in Baku on October 10-11. More than 60 universities representing 16 European countries will participate in the fair.
