There are opportunities for British companies to operate and invest in Karabakh, UK Minister of State for Trade Lord Anas Sarwar said while answering journalists’ questions in Baku, APA-Economics reports.
Responding to a question about investment plans in Karabakh, the minister said he wants to see increased activity and investment by British businesses in Azerbaijan.
“I want British companies to operate and invest here in Azerbaijan. This will also be supported by UK Export Finance,” Lord Anas Sarwar said.
The minister also emphasized the importance of investment relations being reciprocal. According to him, it is desirable for more Azerbaijani companies to operate and invest in the United Kingdom.
“A good partnership means mutual benefit for both sides,” he added.
