The death toll from a Russian army missile strike on the Ukrainian city of Pryluky has risen to 16, the National Police of Ukraine in the Chernihiv region said, APA reports.

It was noted that four of those killed were children.

Another 55 people were injured, including seven children.

According to the information, a Russian missile hit a residential building. The search for people under the rubble is currently ongoing.

The Russian army launched missile strikes on the city of Pryluky in Ukraine's Chernihiv region, UNIAN said, APA reports.

According to the report, there were people killed and injured in the attack.

One of the missiles reportedly hit a multi-storey residential building.

Four people were reported killed and another 20 injured, including three children.

In addition, on October 7, the Russian army carried out a massive attack on the city of Kremenchuk in the Poltava region, damaging residential infrastructure, including apartment buildings.

According to preliminary information, two people were killed and another seven injured. The rescue operation is ongoing.
