The Russian Defense Ministry stated on Monday that it believes that the Ukrainian government holds no control over the situation in the country and that is "under the harsh influence of radicals, said The Chief of the National Center for State Defence Control, Colonel-General Mikhail Mizintsev APA's Moscow correspondent reports.
Three hours prior to the start of the ceasefire that Moscow proposed, Ukraine first agreed to it, but, contrary to the agreement, did not proceed to open humanitarian corridors in the direction of the Russian cities of Belgorod and Rostov-on-Don from Ukrainian cities of Kyiv, Kharkiv, Mariupol, and Sumy, the Russian military added. Ukraine still "has not fulfilled a single condition for the creation of humanitarian corridors," Moscow claimed.
Meanwhile, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov revealed that Russia told Ukraine that its special operation could stop "at any moment" if Kyiv decides to agree to Moscow's requests. "We are actually completing the demilitarization of Ukraine. We will complete it... They [Ukraine] should stop hostilities," he told Russian reporters.
