Construction of the 74-kilometer, 330 kV double-circuit power line in the Jabrayil-Aghband direction is nearing completion, President of AzerEnergy OJSC Baba Rzayev said during his speech at the 5th Azerbaijan-Türkiye Energy Forum, APA-Economics reports.
According to him, the design work for the power transmission line from the Azerbaijan-Armenia border toward Nakhchivan has also already been completed.
Baba Rzayev noted that a land plot has been allocated to AzerEnergy in Nakhchivan for the construction of a converter substation, which will be one of the main elements of the direct electricity connection between Azerbaijan and Türkiye.
