“Energy cooperation in Azerbaijan-Türkiye relations has gained strong strategic significance,” Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov said during his speech at the 5th Azerbaijan-Türkiye Energy Forum, APA-Economics reports.
The minister noted that joint energy projects demonstrate the important strategic directions and broad geography of the Azerbaijan-Türkiye partnership.
According to him, SOCAR Türkiye, companies providing refueling services at Istanbul airports, and other projects are among the important areas of energy cooperation.
It was noted that the creation of new petrochemical capacities in Türkiye, as well as the implementation of new projects in the energy sector, is expanding economic ties and further strengthening energy integration between the two countries.
