As part of a two-day visit by representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan to Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur, foreign diplomats have visited Karabakh University, APA’s correspondent assigned to Karabakh reports.
The foreign diplomats were welcomed at Karabakh University by Rector Shahin Bayramov.
He provided the guests with detailed information about the activities of Karabakh University, the educational programs implemented there, the number of students and the conditions created for them.
It was stated that the educational process at Karabakh University is already being carried out for the third year. The rector noted that more than 1,000 students studied at the university in its first year of operation. In the second academic year, the number of students exceeded 2,000. This year, the number of students expected to study at the university is close to 3,000.
The rector also provided information about the conditions created for students. It was emphasized that students at Karabakh University study free of charge, the necessary conditions are created for their accommodation, and students are provided with dormitories and apartments. Modern educational programs are implemented at the university, and modern infrastructure is being developed to ensure that students receive a quality education.
The rector also spoke about the university’s future development prospects. He stated that work is continuing to expand Karabakh University’s educational and infrastructure capabilities. New buildings of the university are under construction.
It was noted that a new building for the economics field has already been constructed and commissioned. In the coming years, several more new buildings are planned to be constructed and commissioned on the university campus.
The foreign diplomats familiarized themselves with the educational infrastructure created at Karabakh University and received information about the conditions created for students and the university’s future development plans.
