We will continue consultations with our friends in Russia and China regarding the nuclear program, , Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said during a press conference in Tehran with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov, APA reports.
The Iranian Foreign Minister emphasized that his country will not hold direct talks with the United States on the nuclear program under pressure and threats: "Iran's position on nuclear negotiations is completely clear. We will not negotiate under pressure and sanctions. As long as maximum pressure continues, there is no possibility of direct negotiations between us and the United States."
Araghchi also noted that Iran's position on Syria is very close to Russia's.
