“Considering the situation in our region, we have no choice but to say, ‘Be ready for combat.’ We will prepare in the best possible way, but we will live in peace,” Türkiye’s Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler said in his address to the servicemen participating in the exercise while observing the “Power of Unity – 2026” exercise together with the command staff of the Turkish Armed Forces, APA reports.
In his speech, the Turkish Defense Minister said that the servicemen of Azerbaijan, Türkiye and Uzbekistan had successfully completed the exercise in terms of both planning and execution.
He thanked the servicemen involved in planning and conducting the exercise, as well as the land forces, naval forces, air forces and command staff, and wished them success.
