A new member has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Anglo Asian Mining, the UK-based mining company specializing in the development of gold deposits in Azerbaijan, the company stated, APA-Economics reports.
According to the information, Cameron Pforr has been appointed as an independent director with immediate effect.
The company said Pforr brings many years of experience in information security, technology, and corporate finance. He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Mtron Industries, a company listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).
Previously, he held the positions of President and Chief Financial Officer at cybersecurity companies IronNet and Fidelis Cybersecurity. He has also worked in corporate finance and investment at Bain & Company, Mustang Capital Partners, and Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown.
Chairman of the Board Khosrow Zamani said Pforr's experience in international corporate finance markets would contribute to the implementation of the company's growth strategy and strengthen its management team.
