The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Committee of "AzerGold" CJSC held its next meeting with the residents of Chovdar and Gushchu villages, as well as other settlements of the Dashkasan district.
The meeting, organized at the Chovdar Integrated Regional Processing Area (CIRPA), was attended by Ilgar Jalilov, Member of the Executive Board and Deputy Chairman of "AzerGold" CJSC, member of the CSR Committee; Vugar Mammadov, Deputy Head of the Dashkasan District Executive Authority; and other members of the committee.
During the meeting, detailed information was provided about the ongoing efforts to support the socio-economic development of villages and settlements located near the mines where the Joint-Stock Company operates, especially where extraction works are carried out—as well as initiatives for environmental protection and improving the welfare of local communities.
It was noted that in the first half of 2026, a total of 15 social projects and events were implemented in the district to further contribute to state policy. These initiatives focused on strengthening social welfare, landscaping and construction, effectively organizing minors' leisure time, promoting education, cultural enlightenment, sports development, environmental protection, and other related areas.
It was stated that by the end of the year, within the framework of the partnership between "AzerGold" CJSC and the Dashkasan District Executive Authority, plans are in place to install a solar-powered street lighting system in Gushchu village, organize a large-scale mobile medical examination campaign, establish an educational center for Dashkasan schoolchildren, and implement several other infrastructure projects.
At the end of the event, the appeals of the residents were heard, and an exchange of views took place regarding their proposals and initiatives. The issues raised by the citizens were officially registered for further investigation and to evaluate possible solutions within the framework of existing authorities and in accordance with legislative requirements.
It should be noted that the CSR Committee of "AzerGold" CJSC will continue to hold such traditional meetings to identify the social needs of local communities, strengthen public dialogue, and foster mutual cooperation.
