Baku. Rshad Suleymanov-APA-Economics. Azerbaijan’s largest cement maker Garadagh Cement has launched a new sulphate resistant cement product.
The marketing and sales director of Garadagh Cement Horia Adrian said that every cement product has their own purpose in use.
Sulphate Resistant cement provides additional protection where the concrete is subject to an aggressive environment such as salt water or underground factors.
The new product, called SOLID, meets local and international standards.
This product was issued a certificate by Azerbaijan State Agency for Standardization, Metrology and Patents.
Garadagh Cement sold 1.34 million tons of cement and its market share was 42% last year.
