BP-Azerbaijan to hold a public discussion on Chirag Oil Project

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. BP-Azerbaijan will hold a public discussion on the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) for Chirag, one of Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) fields in the Azerbaijan sector of the Caspian Sea.
The company said the meeting is to take place in Baku on Sep. 23.
ACG participating interests are: BP (operator-34.1%), Chevron (10.2%), SOCAR (10%), INPEX (10%), Statoil (8.6%), ExxonMobil (8%), TPAO (f6.8%), Devon (5.6%), Itochu (3.9%) and Hess (2.7%).
