"There is a danger of a direct confrontation between Russia and NATO," said Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.
"Risks (clash between Russian and NATO forces) surely, emerge and we, of course, worry about the weapon supply, all of these are so dangerous. There is no guarantee that no incident will happen," said the Russian deputy foreign minister.
The diplomat added that the formation of a NATO-centric structure in Europe is a dead end: "If you put security interests first, then sooner or later Europe must understand that the formation of such a NATO-centric architecture is not going anywhere, in other words, it is simply to turn itself into an object of military planning."
