The Houthis have taken full control of Yemen’s Red Sea coast, AFP reports.
It should be noted that the Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen have seized six districts in the west of the country with a total area of 5,400 square kilometers.
It is reported that during an operation against Yemeni government forces, the Houthis took control of Yemen’s entire Red Sea coastline, including the coastal city of Dubab, the small settlement of Murad, as well as Perim Island in the Bab al-Mandab Strait.
Mohammad Mokhber, an adviser to Iran’s Supreme Leader, congratulated the Houthis on their “brilliant victory.”
