Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the meeting in Ankara today touched upon energy cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkiye, APA reports.
It was noted that the Southern Gas Corridor is operating successfully.
Opportunities to increase gas supplies through this corridor to Turkiye and from there to Europe were discussed.
It was also noted that the construction of the Igdir-Nakhchivan gas pipeline and investment in this regard is envisaged in the state budget of Azerbaijan.
