Russia is not threatening anyone and does not intend to attack anyone in 2029, 2030, or 2050, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated this at the plenary session of the 23rd meeting of the Valdai International Discussion Club, APA reports.
"We are not threatening anyone, we have no intention of attacking anyone, not in 2029, not in 2030, not in 2050. But if we encounter aggression, we will be forced to respond. And the citizens of European countries must clearly understand this and distinguish between our position and that of certain current political leaders in their countries," Putin said.
The Russian leader also expressed the opinion that Europeans understand this. "This understanding exists, and we see it precisely from the election results and the mood in the largest European countries," he concluded.
