Six crossing points have been determined for crossing state border between Azerbaijan and Georgia, it has been reflected in the draft law "On confirmation of an "Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of Georgia on border crossing points through the state border between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Georgia", which has been discussed at today's Parliamentary meeting, APA reports.
According to the draft law, these crossing points are as follows:
1. For permanent, international, passenger, and freight connections
Railway
“Boyuk-Kesik (Azerbaijan) - Gardabani (Georgia);
Car
- "Red Bridge" (Azerbaijan) - "Krasniy Most" (Georgia);
“Mazimgara” (Azerbaijan) - “Tsodna” (Georgia)
2. Joint, international and automobile crossing points for regular auromobile, passenger, and cargo relations
“Silk Road” (Azerbaijan) - “Abreshumis Gza” (Georgia);
3. For regular, interstate passenger and freight communications:
Pedestrian highway
"Sadakhli" (Azerbaijan) - "Vakhtangisi" (Georgia)
4. For seasonal interstate, passenger and cargo communications only for citizens living in border areas (summer time from 08:00 to 21:00, winter time from 08:00 to 18:00):
Pedestrian highway
Muganli (Azerbaijan) - Samtatskaro (Georgia).
