In 2025, enterprises with state ownership stakes paid a total of AZN 636.6 million in dividends to the state budget, APA reports.
This was reflected in the “Annual Report on the Execution of the State Budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2025,” which was discussed today at a meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship.
According to the report, AZN 461.5 million of the dividend payments came from SOCAR, while AZN 175.1 million was contributed by ABB (International Bank of Azerbaijan).
Overall, against a forecast of AZN 861 million, the state budget received AZN 1 billion 252.3 million under other revenues. This is AZN 391.3 million, or 45.5%, above the forecast.
In the structure of other revenues, dividends received from state companies were the main source, accounting for a 50.8% share. Other revenues included customs duties and fines paid by organizations financed from the state budget (AZN 173.7 million), revenues from unused balances (AZN 157.8 million), income generated from the management of the free balance of the Treasury Single Account (AZN 136 million), and other sources.
