Cybersecurity and anti-fraud measures are being strengthened in Azerbaijan’s financial sector, Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan Vusal Khalilov said during his speech at the 10th International Finance and Banking Summit held in Baku, APA-Economics reports.
According to him, alongside the growth of digitalization and cashless payments, fraud risks are also increasing, and comprehensive measures are being implemented to prevent them:
"We are already carrying out effective information exchange with several institutions, and in the future we are considering further development of this both from the digital perspective and through regulations. By the end of the year, we expect new anti-fraud rules to be introduced to the market. This will be an important step specifically for fraud management," he stressed.
