Azerbaijan's average daily crude oil production stood at 456,000 barrels in June this year, APA-Economics reports, citing the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC)'s monthly report.

The figure remained unchanged compared to May, when average daily crude oil production also totaled 456,000 barrels.

According to the report, Azerbaijan's average daily crude oil production amounted to 454,000 barrels in the first quarter and 457,000 barrels in the second quarter of the year. Thus, production increased by 3,000 barrels per day in the second quarter compared to the first.

The report also notes that Azerbaijan's average daily crude oil production reached 461,000 barrels in 2025, down by 20,000 barrels per day compared to 2024.

It should be noted that Azerbaijan is a participant in the OPEC+ agreement. OPEC+ is an initiative involving OPEC members and non-OPEC countries aimed at reducing oil production to help balance the global market.

According to the agreement reached by OPEC+ ministers, Azerbaijan's production quota is set at 551,000 barrels per day through the end of 2026.
