Global oil prices have increased, APA-Economics reports.
August futures for WTI crude oil on the New York NYMEX commodity exchange rose by USD 0.32, or 0.44%, compared to the previous closing price, reaching USD 72.40 per barrel.
On the London ICE exchange, the price of September futures for Brent crude increased by USD 0.37, or 0.48%, to USD 76.67 per barrel.
The increase in oil prices is being supported by ongoing concerns over supply risks in the market and expectations that global demand will remain stable.
