Oil prices posted gains in daily trading on global exchanges, APA-Economics reports.
August futures for WTI crude oil on the New York NYMEX commodity exchange increased by $0.09, or 0.13%, to $68.78 per barrel.
Meanwhile, September futures for Brent crude on London's ICE exchange rose by $0.32, or 0.45%, to $72.12 per barrel.
According to analysts, the increase in oil prices comes amid ongoing concerns over supply and as investors assess risks in the global energy market.
