"The building in question was recorded during inventory work carried out in the liberated territories," the State Service for Protection, Development and Restoration of Cultural Heritage told APA in response to an inquiry regarding a building located in the Girmizi Bazar settlement of Khojavend district.
It was reported that after the historical and architectural significance of the building is examined, the issue of including it in the list of immovable historical and cultural monuments will be considered at the next meetings of the Expert Council for the Identification of Immovable Cultural Property under the Ministry of Culture.
It should be noted that during inventory work carried out in Karabakh and East Zangezur, 256 newly discovered monuments of historical, architectural and archaeological significance have been documented. Of these, 44 were registered by the state in 2025. Currently, relevant measures are being taken to ensure the state registration of the remaining 212 monuments.
