On December 26, Minister of Culture of Azerbaijan Adil Karimli met with Issam bin Saleh al-Quteili, the ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Azerbaijan, the Ministry told APA.
During the conversation, the prospects for the development of bilateral relations and cooperation in the field of culture were discussed.
At the meeting, satisfaction was expressed about the declaration of the Shusha city of Azerbaijan by ICESCO as the "capital of Islamic culture" for 2024, and the events to be organized during the pivotal year were discussed.
The minister expressed his hope that Saudi Arabia will again contribute to the 6th World Intercultural Dialogue Forum to be held in Baku in 2024 as part of the Baku Process.
