It is planned to broadcast all competitions within the European Games," said president of the Russian Olympic Committee Alexander Zhukov to Azerbaijani journalists, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.
According to him, two cable channels "Sport" and "Sport 1" of the All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (VGTRK) will broadcast the event. "In addition, all other competitions will be highlighted via the "Russia 2” channel, said Zhukov.
The head of the ROC also said that the Russian athletes were seriously prepared to the first European Games: "All Federations approached to the selection of athletes very seriously. We take the strongest athletes in all sports to Baku. I hope that Russia in the team event will take the first place."
Zhukov noted the high level of readiness of the organizing committee to the Baku-2015: "I have recently been twice to Baku and familiarized with sports facilities that will host the Games. The entire infrastructure, sports venues, in a word, all are on the highest level. A magnificent Olympic Village has been built. In its turn Baku is a magnificent city in general. I am sure that Azerbaijan will hold European games at the highest level. "
