The border checkpoints will be build on the new state border with the Islamic Republic of Iran, was mentioned in the Action Plan on the international corridors passing through the territory of Azerbaijan which was approved by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, APA reports.
According to the Action Plan, construction works will start in Aghband settlement of Zangilan district, in the territory of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and in the state border in Astara district after the agreement with the Islamic Republic of Iran on the construction of new checkpoints will be reached.
