An investigation is in progress on the fact that a person was injured by hitting a mine, the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office told APA.
The press service noted that on December 26, in the area of the liberated Sarijali village of Aghdam district, an employee of Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) Mahmudov Zaur Eldar, born in 1982, was injured as a result of a mine explosion. An investigation is underway at the district prosecutor's office.

On December 26, 2023, an anti-personnel mine explosion occurred in the area of Sarıjali village of Agdam district, which was liberated from occupation, while the employee of the Agency, Mahmudov Zaur Eldar oghlu, born in 1982, was performing his duty.
The injured person was evacuated from the scene and taken to the district hospital.
