The theme of the Annual Meetings of the Islamic Development Bank Group (IsDB) to be held in Baku has been announced, APA-Economics reports.
The 51st Annual Meetings, to be held on June 16–19, will be dedicated to the theme “Regional integration for sustainable prosperity” and will bring together more than 2,000 international participants. This was stated during a meeting between Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov and President of the Islamic Development Bank Group Muhammad Al Jasser.
The minister noted that Azerbaijan promotes sustainable growth through strengthening regional economic ties, increasing transit and logistics capabilities, and economic diversification. He also emphasized the importance of the IsDB’s projects in Azerbaijan, especially in the liberated territories, in terms of reconstruction and development.
Muhammad Al Jasser stated that regional integration is one of the key tools for sustainable development amid global challenges, and that the IsDB will expand cooperation in this direction.
