Baku. Victoria Dementieva – APA. Baku will host Culture Days of Astrakhan region of Russia later September, said deputy chairman of the Astrakhan regional government Tatyana Yusupova during her meeting with the Russian community in Azerbaijan, APA reports.
She said they reached an agreement with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan. Narimanov district of Baku will also organize Culture Days in the district of Astrakhan of the same name.
Yusupova said Astrakhan was interested in the development of cultural relations with Azerbaijan and her visit would help to determine directions of the development of cooperation. She pointed out student and journalist exchanges as an example of cooperation and said 138 Azerbaijani citizens were studying at the Astrakhan universities now.
