The priorities identified during Azerbaijan’s chairmanship of CICA align with the vision and policy directions of the United Arab Emirates, UAE Minister of State Khalifa bin Shaheen Al Marar said during his speech at the 7th CICA Summit, APA reports.
The minister emphasized that the United Arab Emirates has chosen to continue its efforts to promote peace and stability, strengthen dialogue and cooperation, respect the sovereignty of states and support multilateral cooperation, and that these principles are consistent with the objectives of CICA, particularly those aimed at building trust and cooperation among member states, supporting security and stability, and promoting constructive dialogue and joint action to address regional and international challenges.
“We look forward to strengthening cooperation in the priority areas included in the agenda of the 7th session by Azerbaijan’s chairmanship and to continuing our joint efforts during the next chairmanship period to transform these priorities into practical areas of constructive cooperation,” he noted.
