“We are united by our commitment to international law and the UN Charter,” Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Igor Sergeyenko said during his speech at the 7th Summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), APA reports.
He stated that it is clearly evident that there is no alternative to the transition to a multipolar world:
“We welcome initiatives aimed at transforming CICA into a full-fledged international organization. This process is advancing thanks to Azerbaijan’s effective chairmanship, and the country’s chairmanship will continue for the next two years. Azerbaijan will lead in this direction. As an observer state, Belarus is ready to contribute to practical cooperation and significantly expand its participation in the implementation of programs. For our part, we propose actively expanding cooperation.”
