A search is being conducted at the home of Sergey Sokolov, editor-in-chief of the Novaya Gazeta newspaper, APA's Moscow bureau reports, citing the newspaper's editorial office.
It was reported that Sokolov was taken to the Investigative Committee following the search.
According to the report, contact with Novaya Gazeta editor-in-chief Sergey Sokolov was lost at around 12:00 on October 15, shortly before an editorial meeting scheduled to take place at the Moscow office, and his phones were switched off.
