Growing crises are increasing uncertainty in international relations today, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said during his speech at the 7th Summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), APA reports.
He stated that finding collective solutions to common problems is more relevant than ever:
"The biggest obstacle to this necessary multilateral action is the lack of trust among international actors. To address this problem, our priority is to foster a culture of dialogue and strengthen mutual trust by improving cooperation based on the principle of regional responsibility. CICA can play an important role in transforming dialogue into effective cooperation. Therefore, we support CICA's transformation into a full-fledged international organization. Our commitment to peace and mutual trust must extend to all member states."
