Ukraine continues to strike Russian oil refineries, contrary to US peace efforts, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
According to him, Ukraine has effectively not imposed a moratorium on strikes against oil refineries and energy facilities.
The Kremlin spokesperson emphasized that by striking Russian oil refineries, Ukraine is acting contrary to US peace initiatives.
"I would like to recall yesterday's statement by Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak. He essentially said that there is no moratorium on the Ukrainian side. Strikes against our oil refineries and energy sector facilities have continued over the past few days. Ukraine continues to strike these facilities, thereby, of course, seriously contradicting the peace efforts of the United States and American negotiators," he said.
It should be noted that on October 14, Novak reported attacks on oil refineries in the Ryazan and Saratov regions.
