Culture Minister of Vatican to visit Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan and Vatican will cooperate in various spheres of culture, Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfas Garayev, who has recently returned from Vatican, told journalists, APA reports. The minister said he had held three meetings in Vatican. Proposals on the exchange of information and books between Vatican and Azerbaijan were put forward in one of the meetings.
â€œAs a result of this meeting a contract will be signed on mutual cooperation between Azerbaijanâ€™s National Library and Vatican Library. Vatican library is one of the richest libraries of the world. Our scientists, students, researchers will be permitted to do studies related to Azerbaijan there,â€ he said.

The minister said he had also met with Culture Minister of Vatican. Abulfas Garayev noted that Culture Minister of Vatican will pay his first visit to Azerbaijan in June this year. A document on mutual cooperation will be signed during the visit of Vatican Minister to Azerbaijan.
