Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. In January-July 2016, AZN 16.2 bln-consumption goods were sold to the population in retail trade market, up 2.0% from previous year.
According to State Statistical Committee, 99.9% of consumer products were sold by non-state entities, including 11.3% by legal entities. Retail trade turnover on non-state sector exceeded 2015’s level 3.4% to AZN 6,785.9 mln.
Per consumer bought AZN 240.3-goods, up AZN 30.2 from 2015.
Retail sale of food products, tobacco and drinks in 2016 exceeded 2015’s level 2.8% and reached 7,997.8 mln, non-food products rose 0.6% to AZN 8,171.7 mln.
Per consumer purchased AZN 118.9-food products, drinks and tobacco products, AZN 121.4 – non-food products per month.
