Azerbaijan reduces excise tax and customs duty on imported gasoline

According to the amendment, excise tax for a ton of engine gasoline which contains less than 0.013 gram of lead per litre and 95 Octane Number reduced from AZN 200 to AZN 1. The decision has come into force since August 16 and valid for sixty days.

The Cabinet also amended the decision#80 on “rates of customs duties on export and import operations in Azerbaijan” dated April 12, 2001. According to the amendment, customs duty for RON92 petrol has been reduced from 15% to 0%. This decision has entered into force since August 16 and is valid for 60 days.
