World Bank releases average oil price data for Brent and WTI

In July this year, the average price of one barrel of Brent benchmark crude oil on global markets stood at $83.4, which is 2.34% lower than the previous month's figure of $85.4,  APA-Economics reports, citing the World Bank's monthly commodity markets report.

The average price of one barrel of Brent crude on global markets reached $104.4 in the second quarter of this year, which is 54% higher than the corresponding period last year ($67.8).

The Bank recalled that the average price of Brent crude stood at $69 in 2025, down 14.5% from $80.7 in 2024.

According to the report, the average price of one barrel of WTI (West Texas Intermediate) benchmark crude in July this year was $79.4, which is 3.1% lower than the previous month's figure of $81.9.

It was noted that the average price of one barrel of WTI crude on global markets reached $93.2 in the second quarter of this year, which is 46% higher than the corresponding period last year ($63.9).

The report said that the average price of WTI crude stood at $64.9 in 2025, down 14.4% from $75.8 in the previous year.
