The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) has announced its forecast for average daily global oil demand for 2026-2027, APA-Economics reports, citing OPEC’s monthly report.
According to the report, average daily global oil demand will stand at 107.9 million barrels next year (previous forecast – 107.88 million barrels), which is 2.16 million barrels higher than the forecast figure for 2026.
According to the forecast, the figure is expected to stand at 105.74 million barrels this year (previous forecast – 105.94 million barrels), which is 0.58 million barrels higher compared to the 2025 figure (105.16 million barrels).
Recall that in 2024, average daily global oil demand stood at 103.84 million barrels.
