In January-July 2026, Azerbaijan's non-oil sector exports (excluding non-monetary gold) amounted to USD 2.5 billion, APA-Economics reports, citing the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC).
This indicator increased by 18.3% compared to the corresponding period of 2025.
In July of this year, Azerbaijan's non-oil sector exports increased by 15.8% compared to the same period last year, reaching USD 384.8 million.
Overall, exports of food products during this period amounted to USD 123 million. Exports of non-food products increased by 26% to USD 261.8 million.
In January-July of this year, exports of sugar increased 2.6 times compared to the corresponding period of last year, cotton yarn by 81.9%, vegetable and animal fats and oils by 39.5%, aluminum and products made from it by 39.4%, cotton fiber by 24.9%, ferrous metals and products made from them by 23.3%, tea by 19.5%, fruits and vegetables by 16.4%, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages by 3.0%.
During the reporting period, exports of agricultural products increased by 22.1% to USD 673.4 million, while exports of agro-industrial products rose by 24.8% to USD 223.1 million. Overall, combined exports of agricultural and agro-industrial products increased by 22.8% to USD 896.4 million.
