Baku. Rashad Suleymanov – APA. State Oil Company of Azerbaijani Republic (SOCAR) produced 215 96 tons of diesel fuel and 72 04 tons of heating oil in August,
SOCAR told APA that they observed 1.4% fall in diesel fuel and 25.2% fall in heating oil production in August than it was forecasted. Diesel fuel was produced by Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery. In total, 1545 28 tons of diesel fuel and 798 27 tons of heating oil were produced during January-August which is 10.2% less and 3.3% more than forecasted, respectively. Compared to the first half of 2007, Azerbaijan achieved 9.8% rise in diesel fuel production while heating oil production decreased by 49.3% during January-August of this year.
