Top official says there is precise information about ongoing campaign against Azerbaijan

Ali Hasanov, the Azerbaijani president’s aide for public and political affairs, made the remarks during the joint press conference on the First European Games held by the Presidential Administration and Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Hasanov said that the circles intending to affect the independent policy of the state and president have an anti-Azerbaijan program.

“They formed such a platform and are controlling anti-Azerbaijan circles. We are observing it in various media outlets, NGOs, law enforcement circles of the U.S. and Western countries. However, we take it patiently and do not respond directly.

We aim to continue our independent policy, promote our country’s achievements in the world, direct peace policy in the region and form interstate civilized relations. There is precise information about the ongoing campaign against Azerbaijan. Media outlets also reported about it. We call them avoid such campaigns. Our goal is a democracy, human rights, civil way and civilized co-existence,” he noted.
